Summer is Here!

Summer has Arrived at the Texas Gulf Coast!

It's summer time here on the Texas Gulf Coast!

Things are warming up quick and bookings are coming in fast and furious. We hope you've already got your summer booking in but if not we still have availability.
We've got plenty to do here on North Padre Island and Corpus Christi, from the Texas State Aquarium and Schlitterbahn Water Park to fishing the Gulf or the flats behind Padre and Mustang Island or enjoying miles of windswept Texas beaches. Don't miss out on all this summer fun!

Beautiful new Vacation Rentals Available

We've added a variety of new properties and upgraded some other properties as well. We've added some new 5 bedroom properties as well as some 1 bedrooms and we're adding more new properties everyday. Including the new Pathway to the Sea Condos and Townhomes.
These beautiful brand new properties are just steps off the beach and they have their very own private pathway to the beach. Here are a couple of those new condos we've just added:

Some of the properties that have been recently updated include the Coastal Cottage CPB606 and El Constante 217 with more getting finished up everyday.

Kemp Ridley's Sea Turtle Hatchling Release

The 1st public Kemp’s ridley sea turtle hatching release for 2018 is scheduled for 6:45 am on Friday June 15 at Padre Island National Seashore, on North Padre Island. There is No fee charged to attend and watch the public hatchling releases. This is an event we highly recommend you attend at least once while you are here on the Island.
For more information about future releases, visit their website at www.nps.gov/pais and check their Facebook page for details on when the releases will take place and all Padre Escapes guests will receive notifications during their stay about the event.

RELEASE DIRECTIONS: The release will be held in front of the Malaquite Beach Visitor Center at Padre Island National Seashore.

FUTURE RELEASES: There will be about 20-24 more public releases of Kemp’s ridley sea turtles at Padre Island National Seashore this year. Several clutches are currently hatching, so more public releases could be held this weekend, pending thunderstorms.

It's going to be a Great Summer here on North Padre Island.

There are no signs of damage from Hurricane Harvey to our area, the Sclitterbahn water park is getting a nice face lift and miles of wind swept Texas Beaches are ready for visitors. We've typically got some properties available for those of you looking to get away at the last minute but don't wait too long because summer weekends typically book up fast. If you're looking to make it down at a little quieter time of the summer then try to sneak a mid-week visit. We hope you all have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you here soon!
